What We Do

UK supports individual social entrepreneurs, financially and professionally, throughout their life cycle. Our key activities in the UK office are selecting and supporting Ashoka Fellows (this is our Venture programme) and developing the Ashoka Support Network. Ashoka Fellows are leading social entrepreneurs who have innovative solutions to social problems and the potential to change patterns across society.

Ashoka UK elected its first fellows in 2007 and has one round of elections each year. Ashoka UK also plays an important role as a host and supporter for the many international Fellows who spend time in the UK each year. The UK Ashoka team works actively with international Fellows to help them connect with partners and collaborators in the UK.
